How to remove/uninstall exterior shutters?you have to put a hacksaw blade behind the shutter and just cut them off, you need to use just the blade as the whole saw will not fit. I assume they are the plastic ones you are referring to. They are made like a bee stinger they can be pushed into the hole but don’t pull back out. Replacement ones are available at Lowes and Home Depot for a couple bucks, they come in a bag of abot a dozen.
